It’s a fact of life that accidents happen with contraception. Perhaps you have fgotten to get your next injection? Maybe you have been sick and you’re concerned if the pill will still work? You could have been using a condom and something went wrong?

If you’re concerned that your regular contraception may not be effective, or have had unprotected sex, our emergency contraception service is here to help.

If you think you need emergency contraception, it is important to act as fast as possible.

How do I get emergency contraception?

We can supply emergency contraception (morning after pill) from the pharmacy.

We will need to see the person that the emergency contraception is intended for and the pharmacist will need to ask a few questions regarding medical history in our private consultation room. Your pharmacist is a medical professional and everything discussed is in complete confidence, there is no need to give your name or any personal details such as your address.

Is there a charge for this service?

This is a private service which the pharmacy will charge a fee for.
